Oat flour makes the treat healthy and grain-free which is great for dogs that do not do well with grains in their diet. Don’t have oat flour in your home, no problem! Put oats in a blender and grind it down to powder. Or simply use any flour you have in your house already. Blueberry season is short lived through the summer months but you can use frozen blueberries throughout the year to get the same health benefits. I whipped these homemade blueberry dog treats up in 20 minutes and Teddy helped me clean up while the treats baked.

Homemade Blueberry Dog Treat Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Blueberries
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 1/4 Cup Oat Flour
- 2 Eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Melt the coconut oil in microwave.
- In a large bowl, mix the coconut oil and oat flour (or Flour of choice) together.
- Add eggs slowly and mix well. Add more flour if your dough is too wet.
- Add blueberries.
- Create a ball with your dough and roll it out on a well floured surface.
- Use a cookie cutter to shape the treats.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Let treats cool before enjoying!
