There are a lot of great items for pets on Amazon that are more than just treats and toys. Although those are great too! Here’s a list of must-have dog finds & essentials that will make your dog’s life more fun, safe, and healthier. I’ve tried them all on my dog Teddy and he LOVES these!

Silicone Snuffle Mat For Dogs

I saw another Instagram dog mom got this silicone snuffle mat for their dog and immediately got it for my dog. Let me tell you, Teddy LOVES using the snuffle mat at every meal. It slows him down and gives him a chance to work for his food. The best part- it’s made of silicone so you can simply put it in the dishwasher to clean. You can find it in a larger size for larger dogs or even this fun floral version.

Snuffle Ball

We’ve had two versions of this snuffle ball because puppy Bear got to the first one. I put my dog’s kibble or treats in the folds and Teddy enjoys doing nose work to find them. This snuffle ball is made from felt and is best for smaller dogs who are gentle with toys as dogs can pull out the felt folds.

Rose Dog Toy

This rose dog toy went viral on Tik Tok and I finally gave in and got it! It’s a cute one with pockets to hide treats. The velcro that holds the rose toy together is pretty tough which can make it a little difficult for smaller dogs to open.

Turtle

The turtle dog toy also has pockets to hide treats or kibble in the “neck” of the toy. This is a more recent purchase and has withstood puppy Bear so far.

Outward Hound Treat Ball

I accidentally melted the last plastic ball Teddy had in the dishwasher. I replaced it with this treat ball from Outward Hound. So far it has been sturdy and not melted in the dishwasher. Teddy likes to roll it around the house so many times I can’t find it until I’m vacuuming the house.

DIY Paw Print Maker

This is the perfect gift for any pet parent. I bought one for myself and have it framed in my home. The paw print maker keeps the mess to a minimum and comes with everything you need; an ink pad and 2 impression pads (in case you make a mistake like me.)

K9 Sport Sack

I have had our K9 Sport Sack for years now. In fact, I probably have the first edition when they first came out. It’s a must-have when we travel, bike, or go on hikes to carry my dog when he gets tired. Teddy is 13 pounds and easily fits in a small size. It took some training and practice at home so Teddy was comfortable staying in the bag. Make sure you give your dog time to adjust to the bag.

Dog Car Seat

A dog car seat helps your dog stay safe and comfortable during a car ride. This car seat securely buckles in with your seat belt and has 2 tethers to connect to your dog’s harness or collar. They make larger car seats for larger dogs here. Or use this belt harness that buckles into your seat belt.

Dog Travel Water Bottle

This is a must-have for all dog parents to keep on the go! Easily give your dog water anywhere. I prefer this dog bottle to the type that sucks the water back into the bottle (High Wave) because I don’t want germs to reenter the water bottle. It comes in many sizes including bottles that hold food or treats as well.

Dog Dental Care Wipes
