Method
- Preheat oven to 350F. Spray muffin tin with nonstick spray of choice.
- In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients then add wet ingredients until well mixed.
- Scoop batter evenly into prepared muffin tin.
- Bake for 35 minute or until firm. Allow to cool.
- To make the frosting, mix peanut butter and chilled greek yogurt in a bowl.
- Pipe frosting on cooled dog cupcakes.
- Add toppings of choice and let your pup enjoy!
Notes
- This dog cupcake recipe is gluten free when using oat flour. But you can use any flour that you have in your pantry.
- Peanut butter can be removed completely if your family has a nut allergy.
- You can also remove the baking powder which will give you a denser cupcake.
- Use ingredients that don’t have added sugars or Xylitol.
- Feel free to add any ingredients to get more health benefits such as carrots or blueberries.
- As always, please consult your Veterinarian before feeding your dog new ingredients in case they have sensitive stomachs.
