Equipment

  • Silicone molds with a dropper or ice cube trays
  • Cookie sheets
  • Blender or food processor
  • Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 2 tb gelatin
  • Pawtree salmon oil

Instructions

  • Place silicone molds on a cookie sheet (this will make it easier to move to the fridge when you're ready to freeze the gummies). I used a smaller heart mold and a larger flower mold.
  • Use a dropper to add a small drop of Pawtree salmon oil in each gummy mold. Each gummy mold should be only 1/4 filled. The amount you place will depend on the size of the silicone mold you use. The rest of the mold will be the strawberry mixture.
  • Blend the strawberries in a blender or food processor until liquid. Do not add water.
  • Optionally: strain the strawberry juice to remove seeds and pulp
  • Pour liquid into a pot and sprinkle gelatin over the liquid. Lightly mix.
  • Allow the mixture to harden for 3 minutes.
  • Add the pot to the stove and heat over low heat for 3 minutes or until the mixture is fully liquid, stirring frequently.
  • Use a dropper to add liquid into the silicone molds.
  • Place gummies in the fridge to set for at least 4 hours.
  • Remove from the mold and let your dog enjoy! Store extra in an airtight container in the freezer.
